The music career of singer/songwriter Lyn Koonce, spans her whole life. As a child, Lyn sang constantly pretending every small inanimate object was a microphone while she strummed her acoustic “tennis racket” guitar. She played piano, guitar, violin and saxophone, but in college, focused on singing. Lyn teaches voice and guitar and maintains a schedule of playing and singing in and beyond North Carolina as a solo artist or with her band, Lyn Koonce and Friends.
