In Benji Johnson's own words... - January 29, 2006

10/20/05
Looks like we got into the Go Triad magazine "best of" list for 2005. We got a "nod" in the best local band category. I think a nod is when you don't finish first or second, but somehow piled up enough votes to get on the list.....?? Heck, I don't know. All I kow is it's a 100% reader based poll and we didn't stuff the ballot box......or even vote for that matter. Truthfully, I didn't even know the list even existed. See what happens when you're out of the loop. Oh, and best local artist was Fantasia. Now last time I checked, I think she placed out of "local" when she won that Idol thing. I prefer Lyn Koonce myself. She got a "nod" also as best local artist. Oh, and I helped produce her latest CD. Am I partial? Noooo...
